• Effectively communicate business needs and opportunities with the operational teams and actively participate in the process of developing practical solutions and devising strategies to best deliver on viable business opportunities
• Oversees all distribution functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, return and monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels to fulfil all orders with minimal waste and aging
• Ensure all operation activities are done according to the SOPs, Service Level Agreement and budget.
• Implements and maintains auditing program to measure unit accuracy, shortage control, operational processing, and vendor accuracy violations to ensure continuous improvement using best practice is a way of life
• Balances workload as needed to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift
• Ensure HR initiatives/processes are executed timely and with high quality within the DC
• Utilizes software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems
• Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations. Complies with all regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements
• Supports Risk Management initiatives through active participation in Safety Committees, creating documentation of identified unsafe acts by Distribution Center Associates and reviews accident investigations and trends
• Hold periodic and ad-hoc meetings with Admin, HSE, DC Facility Manager, etc. to address all operational issues related to the DC Facility, Track and renew all the maintenance contracts within the stipulated time.
