Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data & Cloud Specialist with the experience of Azure Devops to join our Group of Company IT Team. As a Data & Cloud Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implement, optimize and administration of our cloud infrastructure. Working closely with Group IT Infrastructure and Data team, as well as external professional teams, you will spearhead the rollout of cloud-based data warehouse systems for Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines specifically for data-driven projects on Microsoft Azure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the seamless integration and efficient operation of our cloud infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of cloud infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's data and business needs.
Work closely with data engineers and architects to understand data requirements and ensure that data storage solutions are optimized for performance and scalability.
Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of data pipelines and storage solutions.
Oversee the day-to-day administration of cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard data and infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure and BI teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with overall IT strategy.
Work with external professional teams and vendors to integrate third-party solutions and services seamlessly.
Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Proactively identify areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement within the cloud infrastructure.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies
Share knowledge and provide guidance to internal teams on cloud-related technologies and practices.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and administering cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably in a hybrid environment (on-premises and cloud).
Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or others Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and technologies.
Experience with BI tools and technologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
