Job Description

IT Officer (System) will work closely with senior system analysts and stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze systems, and support the development and maintenance of computer systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and learning within the field of system analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Assist in gathering user requirements by conducting interviews, workshops, and research.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop system specifications and design documents.
Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Conduct thorough investigations to identify the root causes of system problems, utilizing available documentation, logs, and diagnostic tools.
Assist in the development and maintenance of system models, diagrams, and documentation.
Collaborate with developers, quality assurance analysts, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Assist in the training of end-users and provide ongoing support for system-related inquiries.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in systems analysis.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in system analysis methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic programming skills (e.g., Java, C#, Python) are a plus.
