Collections and Accounts Receivable Management:
- Apply customer payments accurately and promptly to the appropriate customer accounts.
- Reconcile cash receipts to bank deposits and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and follow up on unidentified or unapplied cash receipts to ensure timely resolution.
- Review aging reports and proactively follow up with customers on past due balances.
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to request payment and resolve payment disputes or discrepancies.
- Prepare and record monthly accrued promotion discount and FOC.
- Check and record monthly consignment FOC.
Credit and Risk Management:
- Monitor customer credit balances and aging reports to identify potential credit risks and take appropriate actions.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address customer credit issues and minimize bad debt exposure.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and other financial reports as needed.
- Assist in month-end close activities, including reconciling AR accounts and preparing journal entries.
